Starflight: The Lost Colony

May 2007 - February 2008

I worked on the overall design and plot narrative on an established IP with the creators blessing. I also worked closely with the tools programmer to help create an efficient and streamlined toolset for mission creation and plot delivery. While developing with a good sized team (6-9 people) I contributed to a fantastic working atmosphere.

Planetary Defense

March 2008 – June 2008

During my time on Planetary Defense I was tasked with being the only game designer. My contributions to the project include feature creation, systems design, GUI design, and plot development. The game itself was a strategic tower defense created using XNA and mapped to Xbox 360 controls.

I am responsible for testing software to find and report various types of gameplay quality issues including game functionality breaks, text discrepancies, graphical glitches, and show-stopping fatal errors for the expansion content and title update to the Xbox Live Arcade game Shred Nebula.
